Existing Structures.

The bureau of property maintenance shall be responsible for enforcement of the property maintenance provisions of the Uniform Statewide Building Code and for administration of the city's occupancy permit program. The head of the bureau shall be the chief of property maintenance, whose duties shall be such as may be prescribed by the director of neighborhood and leisure services, by ordinance, or by the provisions of the Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC).
