In order to adopt an animal from our shelter, a citizen must present a picture ID, proof of current residence and sign all the necessary paperwork. The fees and policies for adoptions are as follows:

Adoption Fees

The adoption fee is $75 for all cats/kittens and dogs/puppies, and includes the spay/neuter surgery, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/Leukemia test (cats), primary vaccinations, and a microchip.

Small Animals

Rabbits - $15, Snakes - $15, Ferrets - $20, Guinea Pigs - $5,
Hamsters - $5, Birds - varies depending on type of bird.

Payment

Cash, Visa, Mastercard, cashier's checks, and money orders.
