  1. Burning Man at Night

    June 29, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Hermitage Museum and Gardens

    An exhibition dedicated to the art of the Burning Man Festival held annually in Nevada will open at the Hermitage Museum and run through October 14. The exhibition will feature outdoor and indoor artworks from six of Burning Man's artist teams. Immersive, large-scale sculptures and interactive installations will transform the Hermitage grounds for five months. PHOTO: an example of previous Burning Man artwork.

  1. Camp Fury - A Norfolk Fire-Rescue Day Camp for Girls

    June 26 - June 30

    Camp Fury gives girls, grades 6-12, the opportunity to experience firefighting and emergency operations techniques. A special day camp presented by Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast in partnership with Norfolk Fire-Rescue. The camp is open to all girls and scholarships are available.
