Do you have a payment plan or take charge cards?

Yes, we offer a payment plan for pre-need purchases which consists of 12 or 24 month payments with no interest. We do accept Master Card and Visa at our cemetery offices.
What are the prices of your graves?

Forest Lawn ranges from $1,500 to $2,200. Riverside, Calvary and Hebrew graves range from $1,000 to $1,200.
What types of markers or monuments are allowed?

Some areas allow upright markers while others require flush, ground level markers.
Do you have areas designated for religious and cultural beliefs?

Yes, Forest Lawn Cemetery, established in 1906, has areas designated for the Jewish, Greek and Chinese cultures while the majority of the cemetery is non-sectarian. Calvary, established in 1877, is an African-American cemetery.
Which cemeteries currently have interments?

All eight of the City-owned cemeteries have interments but only four have property for sale: Forest Lawn, Riverside, Calvary and Hebrew Cemeteries.
When can families visit?

The cemetery grounds are open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset. For office hours, please refer to specific cemetery information.
Do you have to use a burial vault and why?

Yes, a burial vault is required in all City-owned cemeteries in order to protect the casket and prevent the grave from settling in the future.
Are all memorials on the head of the grave?

No, depending on the design of the section memorials are placed at either the head or foot of the grave.
What is a foundation?

The foundation is a concrete pad under the memorial that prevents it from settling.
Can I place flower decorations on the grave any time of the year?
