Your Feedback Requested on Dog Parks

The City of Norfolk and Old Dominion University have partnered together to investigate perceptions of dog parks in Norfolk. We are seeking feedback from all residents -those who use a dog park and those who don’t; dog owners and people who do not own dogs.

All information is confidential and anonymous. This will take approximately 7-10 minutes of your time. The survey closes July 1, 2017.

Twenty participants will receive a $50 Amazon gift certificate! To enter, provide your physical address, zip code, and e-mail address. Recipients will be chosen at random. Please click on the link below to begin.

This study is being funded by the Stanton Foundation in the hope that research into dog park success will result in practical guidelines for others to consider as they design and construct dog parks. The Stanton Foundation chose Norfolk as a case study because we have the 2nd highest amount of dog parks per capita (second only to Seattle, WA) in the U.S.

Questions about the study? Contact Dr. Edwin Gomez & Dr. Lindsay Usher, Park, Recreation & Tourism Studies Program, Old Dominion University, 2019 Student Recreation Center, Norfolk, VA 23529. Phone (757) 683-4995.
