SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE FY2009 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING & CITIZEN COMMENT PERIOD

Consistent with the requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the City’s FY2009 Annual Action Plan is being amended to include $2,097,079 in Homeless Prevention and Re-housing (HPRP) funds. HPRP funds have been made available under the Title XII of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 with the purpose of providing financial assistance and services to either prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless or help those who are experiencing homelessness to be quickly re-housed and stabilized. The purpose of the public hearing is to solicit comments on this proposed change.

Administration $104,854.00
Total $2,097,079.00

The City of Norfolk is now accepting applications for Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-housing grant funds.

The City will hold an application training session on the Wednesday, August 12th at 3pm in City Hall.
