In the Department of Human Resources,
we define our businesses, manage our operations and design
our services through the alignment of our mission with the
vision and priorities of the City of Norfolk City Council.
We continually strive to develop strategies to facilitate
the creation of innovative organizational structures and systems
that will improve the quality and efficiency of our delivery
of services.
The Department
of Human Resources has three strategic businesses through
which the department operates and delivers its services. The
following lists each business and the departmental functions
associated with it:
