In order to maximize the experience of Independence Day festivities in downtown Norfolk this holiday weekend, the City of Norfolk recommends that the public arrive early to park in one of the more than 9,000 metered and garage parking spaces conveniently located within walking distance to Town Point Park, Harbor Park or a NET bus route.

On Monday, July 4, the special event rate of $5.00 will be in effect at all parking facilities, except the MacArthur Center garages, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
