Volunteer at NACC

At the Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center, we understand that much of our work wouldn't be possible without the assistance of volunteers.
For many animals, the next chapter in their life is a direct result of the contributions of our volunteers. Volunteering is not only rewarding, it's a great way of giving back to the animals who give so much to us.
Volunteer positions include animal care (cleaning cages, basic training and TLC), making adoption matches, website and social media, community outreach and foster care. Your time and talents will make life better for animals who are in transition.
For more information about volunteering at NACC, please read through our FAQ's, then fill out a volunteer form. Attendance to a volunteer orientation is required for most of our positions.
If you would like specific information, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 757-441-5505 x305 or email NACC-Volunteer@norfolk.gov.
