Community Outreach

16th Annual Crime Prevention Awards

The Crime Prevention Awards is a program that recognizes extraordinary people, young and old, who are combating crime and the causes of crime in our city.   The award program is a partnership between the citizen-run Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association (CPAAAN) and the City of Norfolk (through its Police Assisted Community Enforcement – or PACE initiative) that honors those determined to make their neighborhoods safer.

Three ways you can help support the Crime Prevention Awards:

Nominate someone

Attend the dinner and ceremony (PDF)

Make a contribution (PDF)

Please join us in honoring those that help combat crime in our city!
