Special Event Parking
Norfolk is home to unique attractions and hosts year-round festivals and special events along
the waterfront.
In order to accommodate convenient
entry and exit from parking
facilities at special events, the Parking Division operates collect-on-entry
payment.
The collect-on-entry rates are:
● $5.00 per vehicle - For all
parking facilities south of City Hall Avenue (Boush Street,
Main Street, Commercial Place, Town Point, and Waterside
Garages).
● $4.00 per vehicle - For all
parking facilities north of City Hall Avenue. (Harbor Park
Lots, Freemason Street, City Hall South & North, York
Street, and Scope Garages).
● $2.00 per vehicle - Special event collect-on-entry at
MacArthur Center North & South Garages.
These
rates are in effect for such events as
Afr' Am Festival,
Harborfest,
Bayou Boogaloo;
Holidays in the City Parade;
Wine Festival;
Norfolk Admirals
hockey games;
Norfolk Tide's
games; Virginia Symphony
performances;
and Broadway at Chrysler series.
