General Information
To meet the needs of visitors, residents and downtown workers, Norfolk’s Parking Division operates and maintains the City of Norfolk’s parking system.This includes more than 19,000 public parking spaces located in 15 garages, 9 lots and more than 500 on-street spaces. Safe, convenient and affordable parking is provided to all patrons through the efficient managing the City’s parking resources.

Customer Service Center
Visit Parking’s Customer Service Center (CSC), located at 222 E. Main Street in downtown Norfolk to handle all of your parking needs, including monthly parking, Meter ParkCard sales, meter permits, parking ticket payments and parking for short-term special events. Cash, check and credit cards (MC, VISA and AMEX) are accepted as payment for parking financial transactions. Credit cards are also accepted at all parking garages and at Cedar Grove Lot for cruise ship parking.Only cash, credit cards and money orders are accepted for payment on any returned check fee. Rate Information
Rates are the same for each facility and are posted at the entrance of the facility. Meters are priced in 15-minute increments and are based on a value price structure. To manage on-street parking, meters have a 2-hour limit, with the exception of the meters in front of the Waterside Marketplace, which have a 15-minute limit.
