A meeting of the Norfolk Board of Zoning A ppeals will be held at 10:00 a. m. on Thursday, February 15, 2007 , in the City Council Chamber, 11th Floor, City Hall Building , Norfolk , Virginia to consider the following applications:

 

CONTINUED AGENDA

 

  1. A & I FAMILY DESIGNS, LLC, for a variance from the regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Norfolk, 1992, as amended, to permit a nonconforming structure to be restored in violation of Section 12-3; premises numbered 701 W. 29th Street and zoned R-11 (Moderate Density Multiple-Family) and located in the (PPROD) Park Place Residential Overlay District. Continued

 

  1. MELVIN & SUZANNE HALLMAN, for an appeal from a Zoning Violation Notice or a variance from the regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Norfolk, 1992, as amended, to permit a six foot solid fence to remain in the required corner side yard in violation of Section 13-6.3; premises numbered 2501 Dominion A venue and zoned R-6 (One-Family). Denied

 

  1. JTH T A X, INC., for an appeal from the decision of the Zoning Administrator regarding the definition of a sign in violation of Chapter 2 of the Zoning ordinance; premises numbered 7931 Shore Drive, and  zoned C-2 (Corridor Commercial). Continued

 

 

REGULAR AGENDA

JOSHUA SCHLESSELMAN, for a variance from the regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Norfolk, 1992, as amended, to permit the installation of two driveways and the creation of parking spaces in violation of Section 15-5.1; premises numbered 1510 Wilson Road and zoned R-9 (One-Family). Denied (Denied for 2 driveways/1 driveway permitted on the south of the property only)

 

  1. RICH A RD SHEARER, for a variance from the regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Norfolk, 1992, as amended, to reduce the front yard requirements in violation of Section 4-7.5 & Table 4- A ; premises numbered 219 Ridgewell Circle and zoned R-7 (One-Family). Approved
