The study will include strategies to revitalize and protect diverse neighborhoods, to enhance and compliment existing strengths within and surrounding the area, and to develop a partnership approach between the City, the residents, the property owners, the businesses and the University. The study approach is divided into three phases:
Study Area Central Hampton Boulevard is defined as follows: Colley Bay on the north, Colley Avenue on the east, the railroad tracks on the south, and Bowdens Ferry Road and Hampton Boulevard on the west. Study Area Map
Study Schedule The Plan will take approximately 6 to 8 months to complete. There will be opportunities in the plan development process for citizens to provide comments and share opinions. Please check the website often for meeting notifications and updates to the schedule.
