Requirements:

• Submission of an application to the Department of Health.
• Field inspection and approval prior to opening and necessary for obtaining a business license.
• The shop must also have a license from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.
• For shops that lease individual stations, an inspection by the Bureau of Environmental Health Services and a letter of transmittal to the Commissioner of Revenue are required for each lessee.

Prior to opening an establishment an inspection must be conducted by this office.
