Project Description: This project consists of widening portions of Southampton Ave, new sidewalks, curbs and gutters, storm water drainage improvements with an outfall relocation, undergrounding of electrical and telecommunications, water and sanitary sewer system upgrades and signalization of the Southampton and Colley Aves intersection. Additional sanitary sewer improvements will be installed along the 100 block of Colley Ave and water main upgrades along Gresham Dr, north from Brambleton Ave. Project Status: Construction Project Cost:$4,500,000 Completion Date: Spring 2012 Project Manager: Chris Chambers Neighborhoods Affected: Medical Center Location: 800 block Southampton Ave Traffic Notes: Southampton will be open to westbound traffic only. Signs will direct drivers to alternate routes. |
