Project Description: This project creates a living shoreline with wetland vegetation intended to stabilize the area. A raised wooden pathway will run from 100 feet north of New York Ave to near Rhode Island Ave. A concrete path will connect the raised path to street level at New York Ave. The concrete path will extend from the raised path at Rhode Island Ave to New Hampshire Ave. Haven Creek, adjacent to the boat ramp, will also be dredged.

Project Status: Substantially complete with some planting remaining

Project Cost: $1,250,000

Completion Date: Fall 2011
