Project Description: This project re-graded and re-landscaped the entire park, adding and replacing modern infrastructure components such as water, electricity and Wi-Fi spots. A new band shell was created and re-oriented to reduce the noise levels for downtown residents. Two fountains were included as well as public art depicting Norfolk memories and a new mermaid. Decorative pavers and concrete paths wind their way through the park, affording the remarkable view of the Elizabeth River.
