The Division of Water Accounts is responsible
for providing quality assistance to our customers by:
Answering questions regarding bills and
payments on their accounts;
Researching and resolving customer concerns
and questions regarding various aspects of their service;
Processing and posting payments received to
customer accounts;
Confirming repairs and determining
eligibility for adjustments on bills affected by repairs made;
Setting up payment arrangements and
advising customers of financial assistance options;
Establishing and terminating water and
wastewater services at customer request;
Completing work order field actions generated
from customer requests;
Maintaining and billing wholesale meter sites for
Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and local military installations; and
Maintaining, reading and billing approximately
68,000 customer accounts.
