The Office of the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney does provide, though not often, unpaid internships to students, high school and college, studying to become legal secretaries or paralegals. Through observation and hands-on experience, interns learn the critical support legal secretaries and paralegals provide to the Office’s handling of criminal cases.
