Real Estate Ambassador Program
The Real Estate Ambassador Program is a partnership between the City of Norfolk and real estate professionals in the region who recognize and are eager to sell Norfolk as a great place to live. Through a specialized curriculum, participating real estate agents learn about Norfolk’s housing and neighborhood patterns, the excitement of city living, and renovation and homeownership incentives.
The Real Estate Ambassador Advantage
- The Real Estate Ambassador course provides agents an extra avenue for attracting buyers by arming them with information about why Norfolk is a great place to live.
- Promotion of real estate agents on the Norfolk website to prospective homebuyers seeking real estate professionals who know and understand Norfolk’s neighborhoods and housing market;
- Recognition as Real Estate Ambassadors and link to their professional pages on the Come Home to Norfolk, Now website;
- Access to all City dockets such as City Council, Planning Commission, etc.;
- Subscription to an email distribution list to be the “first to know”;
- The REA Handbook with pertinent information on tax abatement, local historic districts, conservation areas, and so much more;
- Real Estate Ambassador branding package to include a specialty designed logo lapel pin, artwork for printing logo on business cards and other promotional material;
- Free invitations to city trolley tours and other special events to learn first-hand about the city and its neighborhoods.
