PH-1 PUBLIC HEARING scheduled this day pursuant to action of the Council on September 17, 2002, under the State law, public notice having been inserted in the local press by the City Clerk on renewing a lease for Verizon Virginia, Inc., successor to Bell Atlantic, Virginia, Inc., on 1,600 square feet of land located on the south side of Shell Road in Virginia Beach near the intersection of Diamond Springs Road and Northampton Boulevard.

Thereupon, an Ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance approving a lease agreement with Verizon Inc. to a City-owned parcel of property abutting the south side of Shell Road located in the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia," was introduced in writing and read by its title.
