NEW BUSINESS

 

    1. Earl Bowden, 582 West Ocean View, spoke in favor of the 9th View Public Beach Access Project. As a homeowner in the West Ocean View area he feels that the individual property owners should have accessible entrance to and from their property.
    2. Chuck Barackman, 870 West Ocean View Avenue, spoke in opposition of the 9th View Public Beach Project. He said down zoning property and destroying public beach access to build a second driveway at taxpayer’s expense should not be allowed and that this would be in conflict with the ULI development plans for the Willoughby area.
    3. Michael Reiver, 524 West Ocean View Avenue, was in support of Mr. Barackman statements.
    4. Mike Lipieko, 1358 West Ocean View, spoke in opposition of the 9th View Public Beach Project. He asked Council: if an employee has 26 years of service, and they did not receive a pin at 25 years of service, could they receive a pin and if they could put back on the agenda to discuss a firing range for police officer.

    6. Thomas Harris, 1231 West 27th Street, expressed concerns regarding the Lambert’s Point area being considered for the new stadium.
    7. Shu Xioa, 1049 West 49th Street and Zanyia Zhang, 1242 West 42nd Street, presented council information regarding a meditation program called FALUN GONG.
