NEW BUSINESS

 

1.     Chuck Barackman, 870 W. Ocean View Avenue, spoke concerning beach erosion in Willoughby, asking Council to address problems with the offshore breakwater.  He noted most of the hurricane damage on W. Ocean View Avenue occurred in the 800 block. 

 

2.     William Gray, 3521 Seay Avenue, asked Council to give special attention to the poor and needy Norfolk citizens and city employees.

 

3.     Daniel Montague, 4605 Krick Street, commented someone should be held accountable for failing to check the equipment at the Midtown Tunnel.  He also suggested that Council should pressure State delegates and representatives to regulate the power industry.
