the sale of property to Robert J. Baines located in Tait Terrace on Davis
Street.
There
was no one present to speak concerning this matter.
Thereupon,
an Ordinance entitled, “An Ordinance authorizing the sale to Robert J. Baines
of a certain parcel of property located in the City of Norfolk, Virginia, for the
sum of $15,000, and approving the Purchase and Sale Agreement,” was introduced

Bridge Road, representative of the Norfolk Public Library, spoke regarding
Council’s support for the libraries and summer reading programs.
2. Allan Carpenter, 336 East McGinnis
Circle, President of River Forest/Wayside Manor/Easton Place Civic League,
thanked council for approving funding for an ambulance at Fire Station 4.
3. Daniel Montague, 4605 Krick
Street, asked council to consider bringing off-track betting to Norfolk and to
open ABC stores on Sundays.
