1.      President Fraim read a proclamation proclaiming April 2005 Child Abuse Prevention Month in the City of Norfolk.  Jan Calahan, Betty Wade Coyle, and Judge William Williams accepted the proclamation.

 

2.      President Fraim read a proclamation proclaiming April 10-16, 2005 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.  The proclamation was accepted by John Doyle, Commonwealth Attorney.

NEW BUSINESS

 

1.      Bernard Boykins, 906 Appomattox Street, offered to partnership with the City on the homelessness issue in behalf of disabled veterans.

 

2.      Daniel Montague, 4605 Krick Street, commented on development in Bay Oaks Park, stating he would like to see land set aside for a park.

 

3.      Dr. Vivian Anderson expressed various concerns about the city and city government.
