PH-1                                                   PUBLIC HEARING scheduled this day pursuant to action of the Council on January 8, 2008, under the State law, public notice having been inserted in the local press by the City Clerk on the application of Diane M. Gossett, for a change of zoning from R-6 (One-Family) District to Conditional R-8 (One-Family) District on property located at 420 Glenrock Road.

 

Steve Gossett, the owner, 420 Glenrock Road, was present to answer questions.

 

Thereupon, an Ordinance entitled, “An Ordinance to rezone property located at 420 Glenrock Road from R-6 (One-Family Residential) to Conditional R-8 (One-Family Residential),” was introduced in writing and read by its title

1.      Judge Robert Douma, 7337 Barberry Lane, expressed concerns over the sudden increase of his real estate tax rate on East Beach property from 12% to 20%.

 

2.      Ellis James, 2021 Kenlake Place, commented on preventing water waste by recycling sewage water.

 

3.      Dan Montague, 4605 Krick Street, President of Sherwood Forest Civic League, informed Council, that the solicitors are back on Military Highway soliciting drivers for money.
