Office of Elections
Our Mission

The Office of Elections is responsible for protecting the integrity of the electoral process in the City of Norfolk through maintaining accurate voter records and efficient administration of elections in accordance with state and federal election laws. We are committed to being an information resource for the citizens of Norfolk regarding elected officials, voter registration, and election services.

The Norfolk Office of Elections will be closing at 1:00 pm today, February 12th, due to the impending storm.

The Norfolk Office of Elections will be closed on 
Monday, February 15th in observance of President's Day.

Presidential Primary Election
March 1, 2016
  Notice of Democratic Primary          

The deadline to request an Absentee Ballot by mail
for the Presidential Primary Election is 
Tuesday, February 23rd.  

The Office of Elections is open for in person absentee voting 
Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  

In addition to our regular office hours, we will be open
on Saturday, February 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
 for in person absentee voting.  
We are located at 810 Union Street (City Hall Building),
Room 808.
