Our Mission

The Office of Elections is responsible for protecting the integrity of the electoral process in the City of Norfolk through maintaining accurate voter records and efficient administration of elections in accordance with state and federal election laws. We are committed to being an information resource for the citizens of Norfolk regarding elected officials, voter registration, and election services.

November 8, 2016 General & Special Elections is
5:00 p.m. in person or 11:59 p.m. online on Friday, October 21st.

**Request an Absentee Ballot Online**

The deadline to request an Absentee Ballot by mail is 
5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1st.  

The deadline to request an Absentee Ballot in person is
5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5th.
