The voting system used in Norfolk is a touch-screen system with the following features:

• Large color, finger-activated touch-screen
• Smart-card technology
• Internal battery backup
• Magnifying feature enlarges the text for improved visibility
• Voice guided ballot for the visually impaired to cast their votes in private
