The Human Resources/Organizational Development Unit (HR/OD) provides personnel and administrative support functions for the Department of Human Services.  The mission of HR/OD is to provide efficient, effective, knowledgeable and reliable services, which responds to the needs of all employees, retirees and the public in a manner consistent with the expectations of the department and the City of Norfolk.  The staff of the HR/OD Unit is comprised of a Human Resources Generalist, Personnel Analyst, two Support Technicians, and a Staff Technician serving 575 employees and the general public.
