Returning to the community following incarceration presents a variety of challenges. We know that if people have help in the beginning it improves their chances of success dramatically and that’s better for you, your family, and the community.

The Norfolk Department of Human Services uses a community based approach to integrate human services and public safety. We work with persons previously incarcerated on an individual and voluntary basis. For more information about our Prisoner Reentry Team please contact Janice Roach, Program Supervisor at (757) 664-7723.
