Veterans Day Events
Veteran's Day Ceremony

West Point Cemetery, 238 E. Princess Anne Road
The ceremony will be short (no speaker or formal program) and will consist of troops of Boy Scouts and Cub Packs honoring fallen service men and women. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.

 
Veteran's Day Commemoration

MacArthur Memorial, 198 Bank Street
The MacArthur Memorial will host Norfolk’s annual Veteran’s Day Commemoration in the Visitors Center Theater. This event is free and open to the public.

The ceremony in the Visitors Center will be followed by a wreath-laying at General MacArthur’s grave in the Memorial Rotunda. This event is co-sponsored by the MacArthur Memorial, City of Norfolk, and the Norfolk’s Mayor’s Advisory Commission on Veteran’s Affairs.

 
Special Gallery Talk: Hats Off to Veterans!

In honor of those who have served our country, the day's Gallery Talk will focus on collection works featuring soldiers, sailors, wartime life at home, and military themes.
