Chihuahua dogLicensing Dogs & Cats
A license is required for every cat or dog residing in the city as soon as they reach four months of age. A current rabies certificate is required in order to obtain a license Additionally, documentation that your animal has been spayed or neutered is required in order to receive the reduced rate.

Fees
City of Norfolk license fees are as follows:
Animal Fee
Intact animal $25
Spayed or neutered animal (Senior citizens) $2
Spayed or neutered animal $5
Duplicate tag (lost or stolen) $1
Seeing eye or hearing assistance dog No charge
