2014 Green Reader Program
Be a Volunteer Reader During the Annual Green Reader Program
March 1 - March 31, 2014!

For 13 years, the Green Reader program has served to help students develop a better understanding of the role they play in keeping the City of Norfolk clean and beautiful, while also guiding them toward environmental stewardship in their respective communities.

The Green Reader Program is proud to announce that it will be in all NPS Elementary Schools!
  • As a result, the program needs over 500 volunteer readers!
  • Each Green Reader will share eco-friendly books with Pre-k through 3rd grade students.
  • Volunteers should sign up for the program no later than Friday, February 28, 2014 and allot an hour for each session.
  • Participants can sign up for as many classes as desired.
