Emergency Preparedness & Response
Department Overview
The Department of Emergency Preparedness and Response consists of two divisions which are also the central point of contact for Emergency Management and Emergency Communications (911).

We are one team, one fight in a joint effort to ensure the city is safe, secure and prepared in its approach to incident mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.

Comprised of Two Divisions
Emergency Management
  • The Division of Emergency Management which supports our citizens and community partners to ensure that as a city we work together to build, sustain, and improve our capability to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from all hazards

Emergency Communications (911)

  • The Division of Emergency Communications (911) which serves as a central point to provide timely, accurate and critical twenty-four communications between our citizens and visitors and their need for public safety response, such as police, fire or medic units.
