Dog Parks
Norfolk loves dogs and we want to make sure your four-legged friend has plenty of room to run and play!   You’ll find dog parks located in several city parks and neighborhoods.  View our map of locations
Granby Street Dog Run
Pups must play nice and owners must scoop the poop.  Other dog park rules include:
  • A maximum of three dogs per owner is allowed at any one time
  • Dog owners must remain with their dog
  • Dogs must be leashed entering and leaving the dog park
  • Dogs must wear valid rabies and city license tags
  • Aggressive dogs must immediately leave the park.  Call Animal Control (757) 441-5505 if needed
  • No dogs in heat are allowed
  • Owners are legally responsible for any bodily injury and property damage caused by their dog
  • Puppies must be older than four months
