Clinical Services
The Norfolk Department of Public Health clinics provide an array of medical services to Norfolk citizens to prevent disease, promote health and improve the health status of our community. If you need more information, please contact the clinic below:
 
Dental Health: The Dental Dept. provides services to preschool and school aged children and young adults aged 1-20 years who reside in the city of Norfolk. Services for children and adults 3-20 years include Oral Health Education, Preventative care, x-rays, restorative care including fillings, crowns, limited root canal therapy, extractions, emergency care, and school dental exams. Family Planning: Family Planning services are offered for men and women at our Southampton Avenue and Little Creek locations.  Pregnancy Testing is also available at both sites. For more information on the Southampton clinic site call (757) 683-2889 or Little Creek site call (757) 531-2135.

Immigration and Refugee/Newcomer Health Clinic: The objective of the Newcomer Health Clinic is to identify and eliminate health-related barriers to successful resettlement of Virginia’s refugee population.  The Immigration clinic provides required immunizations and medical evaluations for adjustment of status applicants. Immunization Clinic: Routine Immunizations are provided for infants, children, teens and adults. Please bring all immunization records with you and present them at the time of registration. For more information call (757) 683-2732.

Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic: Free confidential information, testing, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections are available. For more information call (757) 683-2767.

Tuberculosis Clinic: The clinic provides evaluation, treatment and preventative treatment programs for Tuberculosis. For more information call (757) 683-2732.

Well Child Clinic: The Well Child clinic provides routine preventive health services for infants to 5 years for daycare and for children K through 12 for school entrance. The clinic also provides sports physicals. For more information call (757) 531-2135.
