Keep Norfolk Beautiful
Through education outreach, interactive programs and community service the Norfolk Environmental Commission (NEC), Keep Norfolk Beautiful and Friends of Norfolk's Environment are growing environmental awareness. The collective efforts of these groups serve to develop a culture of environmental sustainability throughout the City of Norfolk.

Keep Norfolk Beautiful
Keep Norfolk Beautiful is a branch of the City of Norfolk's Public Works Department, which aids the NEC in the effort toward leading citizens to environmental stewardship and offers volunteer and community service opportunities through programs such as the Great American Cleanup, EARNN, Adopt-A-SpotGreen Reader and Clean the Bay Day.


Norfolk Environmental Commission (NEC)
The Norfolk Environmental Commission is a City Council appointed group of citizens who lead the effort toward environmental stewardship in Norfolk.

Friends of Norfolk's Environment

Friends of Norfolk's Environment is a non-profit organization that supports the efforts of Keep Norfolk Beautiful and the Norfolk Environmental Commission.




Keep Norfolk Beautiful programs are managed by the City of Norfolk and the Norfolk Environmental Commission and supported by the Friends of Norfolk's Environment, Inc.
