Volunteer

We have an on-going need for help with a variety of things, including (but not limited to):

• unfold or shred donated newspapers for animal use
• clean dishes and assist with laundry
• assist with general kennel cleaning
• assist with bathing/grooming of dogs and cats
• assist caretaker staff with socializing adoption floor dogs and cats
• assist customers with dog or cat interactions
• assist customers with locating a lost pet
• assist caretaker staff with socializing/walking appropriate intake animals
• assist customer with questions regarding NACC hours, adoption policies, and adoption fees

If you would like to help us, please complete our application (pick one up at the shelter or download the online version) and turn it in to the shelter, attn: Laurelyn Flowers. After submission of the application and attendance at a volunteer orientation, you will be ready to help the animals!  Volunteer hours are 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. every day.  For more information, please contact Laurelyn Flowers.
