After the Bell is an after-school and summer program that provides a safe haven for students while also supporting academic enrichment activities to improve student achievement. The program focuses on educational and cultural activities with an emphasis on reading, math and technology.

After the Bell is for all Lake Taylor and Lafayette-Winona Middle School Students.

Program cost is $10.00 per week with a $30.00 registration fee (1st month and registration fees due at registration) for a total of $40.00 per month.  Tuition assistance is available for qualifying families.

Registration hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Office of Youth Development located at 500 E. Plume Street, Suite 214.

The program operates on a school-year calendar (Norfolk Public School calendar) and is scheduled to start after school on Monday, September 22, 2008 at both sites.
