OWNER: Generally responsible for maintaining a building in
a good state of
repair including all common areas.
OCCUPANT: Generally is responsible for maintaining a dwelling
unit so as to be
reasonably clean and in a sanitary condition free of infestation.
Once an initial inspection is performed on a property, the
owner has 30 days to complete repairs. At the end of this
time, if repairs have not been completed legal action may
be initiated to gain compliance.
