Our mission is to provide professional towing service to all City of Norfolk citizens and local and state
agencies in an efficient and effective manner.

The Towing and Recovery Division provides towing service by responding to requests from the Norfolk Police, Fire and Health Departments, and Parking and Code Enforcement personnel. To report a nuisance or abandoned motor vehicle, or to inquire about a towed vehicle, call Norfolk CARES at 664-6510.

Abandoned vehicles are usually auctioned every other Thursday. Auctions are held at 1195A Lance Rd, Norfolk, and begin at 10:30 am. Viewings begin at 10:00 am. Contact the Towing Division for additional information.

Look for auction vehicle listings below, or in the Virginia Pilot's Hampton Roads Section. Auctions are usually held on two-week intervals. The listing for the next auction will be posted about three days before the auction.
