The Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (more commonly referred to as EAP) is a confidential and personal counseling service provided for you and your immediate family. It is designed to help employees resolve personal and job related problems that could have a detrimental impact on job performance and personal harmony. Designed to keep the whole person healthy, EAP serves to promote physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Whether employees are just looking for someone to talk with or wish to explore a particular problem in their lives (whether personal or job related), services are offered in an informal, supportive setting.

All discussions between the employee and the EAP counselor are held in strictest confidence. The plan is used for many of life's problems such as alcoholism, emotional turmoil, drug problems, family difficulties, and financial struggles. Through this program, workshops will be available throughout the year to the general employee population covering such topics as: personal financial management, understanding depression, controlling hypertension, alcoholism, stress reduction and other health related information.
