INVITATION FOR BIDS

PROJECT: Moores Bridges Water Treatment Plant Temporary Solids Dewatering Facilities

Sealed bids are to be received in City of Norfolk Department of Utilities, Attn: Director’s Office, 400 Granby Street, 2 nd Floor, Norfolk, VA 23510 until 3:00p.m. local time, Thursday, April 21, 2011, for the above titled Project.

The Work under this Project consists of providing all necessary labor, equipment and services to receive, centrifugally process and dispose of the dewatered residual solids and centrate produced at the City of Norfolk’s Moores Bridges Water Treatment Plant.

AMANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCEand site walk will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. local time at the City of Norfolk’s Moores Bridges Water Treatment Plant, 6040 Waterworks Road, Norfolk, VA 23502. Bidders must be present at the start of this meeting. Representatives of the Owner will be present to discuss the project. Prospective bidders will be allowed to obtain samples of thickened solids residuals at this time.
