Lake Whitehurst

Lake Whitehurst is actually one of Norfolk's eight fresh water reservoirs which provide drinking water for Norfolk and surrounding communities. Bordered by I-64, Little Creek Road and the Virginia Beach city line, this watershed is scenic and drains approximately 4.5 square miles of area. Not only do many residents call Lake Whitehurst home but so does Norfolk's International Airport and Botanical Gardens.
