  • Bike Infrastructure Network

  • Cannonball Trail
    This self-guided tour allows you to follow the Cannonball Trail through 400 years of Norfolk and American history. The trail winds along the shoreline of the Elizabeth River and through the districts of downtown Norfolk
  • Elizabeth River Trail
    The Elizabeth River Trail runs for 10.5 miles between Harbor Park Stadium and Norfolk International Terminals.

    Highlights along the trail include Town Point Park, the USS Wisconsin, Fort Norfolk, Plum Point Park, and several of Norfolk’s historic neighborhoods.
  • Norfolk Public Art
    You can find artwork in public locations throughout Norfolk, where everyone can see and enjoy it.
  • Mermaids
    Mermaids can be found throughout downtown and in neighborhoods. Some old, some new. Some in front of businesses, schools, hospitals and some in homeowners’ yards. They are truly loved by young and old, visitors and residents alike. So start looking! See how many you can find. When you spot one, give a shout, “There goes a mermaid!”
  • Trail of Honor
    The Norfolk Trail of Honor is dedicated to those service members with a direct connection to City of Norfolk who have received the Medal of Honor.

    There will be ten plaques located in Wisconsin Square, adjacent to the battleship. Each plaque will tell the story of the recipient’s exploits and a little about their lives.
