The Norfolk Department of Public Health is currently vaccinating frontline healthcare workers in Tier 1a. As availability of the COVID-19 vaccine increases, we will move into other phases. A public announcement will be made when we are prepared to transition to Tier 1b. To facilitate the enrollment process for vaccinations in Tier 1b, we are developing an online questionnaire that will allow citizens of Norfolk to pre-register and get into a queue categorized by the groups outlined in Tier 1b. To see who is eligible in each phase and to stay up to date on this information continue to monitor our website as well as www.vdh.virginia.gov/covid-19-vaccine/ and VDH’s FAQs www.vdh.virginia.gov/covid-19-faq/.
