Community Vaccination Center at Military Circle Mall


Starting Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, COVID-19 vaccinations will be given on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., all COVID-19 vaccines, including the new bivalent booster vaccines, will be offered. There is no registration. Walk-ins only. Virginians who are unvaccinated remain at high risk of severe illness and hospitalization due to COVID-19. Vaccinations will be for those aged 6 months and older.

To find a COVID-19 vaccine event near you, contact or check the website of your local health department; to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment at a pharmacy or other location, visit vaccinate.virginia.gov or call 877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682, TTY users call 7-1-1). Assistance is available in English, Spanish, and more than 100 other languages.

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccine is available for those ages 6 months and up. The J&J vaccine is available for those 18 years old and up.  Check the current COVID-10 vaccine eligibility here.

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination booster for persons ages 12 years of age and older offered where vaccines are available. Individuals who are 12 years old and up should receive the Pfizer booster dose at least five months after completion of the primary vaccination with the Pfizer vaccine. Individuals who are 18 years of age and older should receive the Moderna booster five months after completion of the primary Moderna vaccine series. Those who have received the Johnson and Johnson (J&J) vaccine are eligible to receive a booster two months after the primary dose.

Anyone who has received a prior COVID-19 vaccine should bring their vaccine card or their vaccine record with a QR code. If you need a copy of your vaccine record, visit vaccinate.virginia.gov.

Community Vaccination Events

Residents who received their first dose of vaccination at a Virginia Department of Health site, such as Military Circle Mall, can visit any location for their second dose that is providing the type of vaccine they received. A Covid-19 Vaccination Record Card showing proof of first vaccination must be provided.
