The Norfolk Animal Care Center works with the City of Norfolk’s Adult Community Supervision Division to receive volunteers that need to accomplish community service hours. Through the Adult Community Supervision Division we accept community service volunteers that have been background checked along with having no history of violent, sexual, or animal offenses/charges.
We are unable to accommodate pre-court date community service volunteers, community service members that are under the age of 18 years old, community service members that do not have a case worker assigned to them, or community service volunteers that are not through the Adult Community Supervision Division.
