**Due to COVID-19 and budget constraints, facility cards can only be purchased at the following community centers:

The remaining centers are closed.

Norfolk's Facility Use Card gives you year-round access to the city's 17 recreation centers, four pools (Chesterfield, Huntersville, Northside and Southside), and Athletics programming. Get this all-access pass and enjoy programs of all sorts. Cards must be presented upon entering a facility. Facility Use I.D. Cards are not required for registration and attendance of fee-based classes.

Note: As of July 1, 2018, the following fees are in effect:

Costs for Facility Use I.D. Cards for Residents

  • Adults (ages 18 to 64): $50
  • Children age 4 and under are admitted free with parent / guardian supervision
  • Daily Guest Pass: $3
  • Family (Adult plus 3 or more): $100
  • Lost Card Replacement Fee: $3
  • Seniors (ages 65 and up): Free
  • Youth (ages 5 to 17): $20

Cards are valid for one year from purchase date. For youth, verification of date of birth must be given by showing an original birth certificate. For adults, a valid driver's license or identification card, as well as proof of Norfolk residency by showing a utility bill not more than 30 days old is required.

A discounted Power Up rate is available through the Department of Human Services to individuals and families who qualify for Medicaid. To learn if you are qualified, check Virginia Department of Social Services or call the Norfolk Department of Human Services at 757-664-6000.

Card Printing / Purchasing Locations

Payment

Pay by check or money order made out to Norfolk City Treasurer. Credit and Debit Cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo are accepted. Up to $10 cash will be accepted per transaction.

TDD Machine

Norfolk's Department of Recreation, Parks and Open Space has a Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) machine. This machine allows us to communicate more effectively with our hearing impaired participants. The TDD number is 757-441-1764. If you have a hearing impairment, please press your spacebar so that the staff will know that you are calling on the TDD.
